What can I say? My little William has me so busy that I hardly have time for Facebook and Pinterest (my newest addiction) let alone TUMBLR!
However, I must update on our latest happenings… Or else I may forget some of them and that would be sad!
So, William is 15 months. He is QUITE the little personality. He has a pretty large vocabulary both in sign language and spoken word. At his latest checkup he weighs 22.9lbs and is 33 inches long. Tall and skinny :)
Words he can sign: all done, more, please, thank you, and airplane. He also waves hello and goodbye (to anything and everything).
Words he can say: Mommy, Daddy, “Yea” for yes (and he says it in a really high pitch), Go, No, Thank You, Please, “Amen” (after we pray), Mine, Cheese, Juice, Bird (usually “tweet”), Truck, Duck, “Whoo” for an owl, “Neeigh” for horse, ”woof woof” for doggie and a squeal for elephant. He knows more, but that’s all I can remember for now.
His newest thing is screaming. He screams about EVERYTHING! I’m hoping its just a phase and that once he realizes it doesn’t work he will stop.
He still LOVES to nurse… more than I would like to admit. lol. But whatever. He won’t do it forever, and I really don’t mind for naps/bedtime. I try to wean him, but he just loves his “nursies.” Whenever he wants to nurse, he comes over to me and either brings me a pillow or blanket and then pats my chest while making a noise. The noise can best be described as “motor boat.” I don’t know where he learned it,but he always makes a pouting/blowing noise with his lips that is SOO funny.
The problem lately has been frequent night wakings because of teething. William has 11 teeth right now. 5 on top, 6 on bottom.. and 4 more coming in. Poor guy, I stole a look this morning in his mouth and he has 3 that are halfway through the gums!
He LOVES all animals, being outside, eating (almost anything), orange juice, cars/trucks/trains (Hard Hat Harry. UGH!), playing with other kids (preferably older ones because were working on his awful hair-pulling/biting tendencies towards small children right now. …. tbc
